New Case - Carriage Global (S) Pte Ltd., Singapore

This cargo was shipped fm KABIL Batam to Norway on March 18, 2012. There were stringent requirement of arriving by April 30, 2012. All heavy lifts are not stackable.

From the pictures you can see the heavy units loaded by Carriage Global Singapore, Pte, Ltd. (www.carriageglobal.com). Hammers were 2x425 tons each, Fenders 2x145 tons each , and Winch 1x220 tons. Add to that the other heavy lift units from 50 to 100 tons for a total of all nearly 5000 tons!

The challenge that we faced here was in swell condition with 1x450 tons we loaded all these units from charterer's berth. Vessel arrived on 14th March at the noon hour but due to heavy rain and swell conditions, vessel anchor was swinging from right to left. Several attempts were made and failed, but finally we managed to lift it up in the early a.m hours on 16th March when swell, tides, weather was better. We managed to complete loading of all 5000 tons of cargoes in two and half day.
